Someone who watches this forum regularly said that there was quite a bit of
interest in the PT-005.

You can see some shots that I took with a C-2000 Z in the PT-005 housing while
scuba diving.

Cool forum. I just upgraded to a C-3030 Z. I will be around if you have
questions, or you can e-mail me.

I currently own the 2020z and the PT-005. Both work flawlessly together.

Question: Does 3030z work with the PT-005 case??

It is my understanding that they do. I am sure going to be disappointed if they

don't! I understand that you take the little shelf out of the bottom of the housing
when you use a 3030z

PT-005 does work w/3030 - I got my PT-005 the day before my vacation began, as Mr. Buffett from Ocean Brite promised. Did not use it in any depth (I took my young kids to a water park), but it did keep camera dry up to six feet, and all controls were functional - incredibly compact, works beautifully. I am sure it will perform and 30 meters as it did at 1 meter. (I wonder if it might not work at greater depths than it is rated).

nice pictures. i'm surprised at how well the housing really works. i've been diving with the housing in japan, hawaii and taiwan, and i've found that the housing is really dependable at deep depths. the only thing that i would do is change the gasket often. olympus japan informed me that the gasket should be changed every 2 to three uses. i don't know how cost effective this is, but atleast the camera will be safe.
