I had on my old computer this coolest program that would crop your photos in PSP. It was free and after downloading it you could open in it a photo opened in PSP and it would crop it to the desired size. Very easy to use. Now I don't have my old computer anyomore and I can't remember the name. Does anyone know this program?

Thanks.

this may be what you are looking for. Try Fotocrop, or the link to fotocrop II available from

It's a PSP 'plugin type' action to crop in PSP. Good luck...Harvey

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks so much.

Also, I later realized that I lost a couple of other little programs that I liked. One was called something like "skin fix", it would smooth the skin on a close-up portrait. A small program that was a free download. Can't remember the exact name.

The other had a very strange name. It, too, was a small free download. It did some very basic editing, but mostly I used it for filters. Of course these could all be done in PSP, but there were a couple that I really liked. When you chose a filter you could show your original in half the screen and the filtered one in the other half. At the bottom of the screen there was a bar that you could click on in increments to say how much better the picture was. Like...a little better, much better, etc. and it would adjust accordingly. This was very easy to use. If anyone knows the names of either of these, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

Would the skin smoothing program be called "CleanskinFX"? It's available as a free download here: http://www.mediachance.com/digicam/cleanskin.htm

YES, YES! Thanks so much David. Now I'm 2/3 of the way there. Just gotta find the last one. It did some real cool stuff converting to Black and White using red, green, etc. filters. Each of those filters gave a completely different look to the same B&W. It also had a Pop Art catagory that had some cool filters there. Real small stand alone program. Free download. Anybody recognize this?

Thanks David. And thanks to anyone else giving this some thought.

Kent,

Reread the Subject line.
She's using Paint Shop Pro.
It does not use Actions. At Least not yet.
Thanks for trying to help.

Mr. Bill
fotogirl,

If you got the actions here, Danny R. has a zip file of most of the
dpr actions at:

http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/showthread.php?s=77dcd8ab48d62a047294f5603742aaa3&threadid=2653

There's another site but I don't have it readily available. Danny???

I'd give that a shot, unzip them and see if any of the titles look
familiar or start trying some where the titles 'sound like' that
action.

And thanks for pointing this out. Harvey's comment "'plugin type' action", threw me off. I'm not that familiar with PSP.

The really important thing is you tried to help. :-)
I'm just switching from PSP to PS7.
So I just found out about actions. I'm learning fast. :-)

Thanks to someone on the Mavica Information Exchange I found the last of the three programs I was searching for. It's called

Photogenetics. It is now free and can be downloaded here. It's a pretty neat little program.

Thanks to all for your help.
