Rare sighting of snow in Toronto (30 f/2 + NX200)

Nice photo. I thought all of Canada was buried under snow in Winter so you live and learn.

Attached are some NX11 photos in our recent fall off snow. Used the 18-55 except for the Rhinos in the snow at Colchester Zoo which were with a 50-200. All out of camera jpeg's.

Well here is a nice snowfall, makes me feel more at home, having grown up in the Georgian Bay area.

Great post, Greynerd! Those rhinos seem to be up to something.

In the core Toronto area at least it's been a very light winter for snow, and pretty warm, too.

Great shot Michael, I love how the light is just catching the tree tops in the lower left.

Thanks to all. The Rhinos are obviously hardy and seemed to be enjoying themselves. The Zebras were out as well. I expect they will get them in overnight. They seem to be keeping the Elephants, Giraffes and Ostriches indoors. They ahve very spacious indoor facilities.

It was nice using the 50-200 with the NX11 as it seems a bit more balanced than the NX100 and the viewfinder is useful with the long zoom. I leave the 30mm on the NX100 now.

Thanks everyone. We have rhinos in the Toronto Zoo ... but it was too cold for elephants, they realized after a few decades. Says something for rhinos.

Here is a 16x5 crop of a nighttime snapshot from the same spot. 16x5 and you still get 9.5 megapixels - amazing! Panorama mode would have worked for this one too, I guess.
