Last Run (S100)

Here is the picture taken with S100 before the last run to the California Lodge at South Lake Tahoe. It is RAW converted with DXO Pro 7.x.

I don't know why no one has commented on this picture, but it's gorgeous scenery and a very nice job of capturing the perspective. Thank you for sharing.

I am not a skier, so it's very unique for me and tells me I have no interest in taking up the sport!

Do you think this picture was improved by being shot in RAW? How do you think a jpeg would have suffered? This is such a relatively easy lighting situation.

Well, thank you very much for your kind comments. This particular picture might not have been improved too much from being shot in RAW, but still it was a little dull for my taste. And many more pictures do not come out as I saw them, so I always shoot in RAW where I have more bits per channel and I can tweak them to my taste. This next one was really bleak and not contrasty and punchy enough, so I have adjusted it to the state I remembered this scene, early in the morning.
