Took some shots today of flowers.. it sure seems like the reds were over saturated.. shot on standard, in raw wit a CZ 16-80

What you see is a RAW profile from your converter of choice. Which converter did you use?

I found something similar in the Lightroom profile for my A500 so I adjusted the red values a little bit to get closer to what the reds look like in reallife and reduce some the clipping in reds.

Assuming you're shooting in JPG mode (otherwise you could tune it yourself in RAW), I'd recommend turing the saturation down. I've been shooting with mine on Vivid mode, but turned saturation down to -1...for me, this gives nice, rich, saturated color, but avoids blowing the reds. Exposure also, of course, is key - often Sony DSLRs are prone to a very slight overexposure, which can push sunlit reds over the line - by knocking the EV down a hair, by .3 to .7, you can get nailed exposures and keep the reds and highlights in line. Some examples of reds on my A580, straight from the camera, shot in JPG, with Vivid mode, saturation -1:

EDIT: Sorry, I reread and see you were using RAW, in which case your default or RAW settings were either defaulted that way or reading the camera's inputs. You should be able to bring the reds down in RAW, unless you massively overexposed them.

thxs for the help guys... I did slightly over expose the images, but it was an easy fix in ACR. I'll try lowering the EV tomorrow and see if it helps, which Im sure it will.
