But what do you think? This is my first picture I edited from my new Sony F717 that Santa brought me.

This is my 8 1/2 yr. old border collie we call "my other son".

I dunno. What's wrong with the original? Here, the background is so distracting.

Really? I hardly notice the background. I must be too captivated by my own dog :-/

Truthfully, the original was nice...although the background was a lot of very green grass. Nothing really wrong with it, I was just playing around with a sketching technique and somehow got it done in the coffee color and I seemed to like it. Then I think I ran a sketching filter over it to give some hatch marks and for some reason I really liked it. Call me odd :)

Well, I'm a bit odd myself and I like it, too! Maybe a tiny bit of increase in the contrast would make the dog stand out a bit more. He really has nice eyes!
