K24mm does a 7 shot panorama. Olympic Bridge University of Utah Campus

I always like the images you post from this lens, Lloyd. You really know how to make it sing, and this one is no exception!

Thanks Joe! It is just a fun lens. I keep hoping that Pentax will put out a WR version of a 24-28mm f2 that matches the DFA 100. That would be my perfect street combo!!!

Very Nice Lloyd - I used to have that K24, great little lens for sure.
Thanks MC, it is just a nice size and handles well, glad I got mine.
One interesting thing about it: it doesn't look like a K at all, it looks just like an 'M' - but without the 'M' designation. When I first held it in my hand I thought, "I'm almost positive I've never heard of an M 24 2.8... wait, there's no M - it's a K ?!?"

Here it is next to a K 24 3.5:

Bought it immediately (traded it for a mint 16-45 f4, but wish I still had it.)

Yes it is styled a bit more like a M lens for sure. I really like the K24mm f3.5 you have there as well. I have the 28/3.5 & 35/3.5 would be interesting to have the set of three as a collector.

Bummer, live and learn I guess.

Have a good one!

Stunning photo Lloyd .... well captured :)

Cheers,

Hi Lloyd,
Thanks Jack! I am thinking of boosting the shadows a smidge and printing it on metallic paper for my State Fair this fall.
Very mean Lloyd .... I mean, as it is now, it's a shoe-in for First (1st) Place .... but

on Metallic paper .... (other) people might as well start tossing their cameras :)

Cheers and let us know (silly question) how you fare ..... pun intended :D

Fantastic work Lloyd!

I like the DR, the composition, and the processing is very natural and relaxing.

I have one very small comment if I may?

The tension cables on the right are ever so slightly bowed outwards. Working in the technical field I know these should be dead straight or slightly sagging under their own weight. I presume this is due to lens distortion. As I said, it's ever so slight.

Once again, great job! :)

Nice nice nice nice nice!

I love (good) pictures of planes!

B-1B.

Was this taken at Hill AFB? I was there in 2007 on a road trip from Vancouver. Loved Utah.
