One huge joy(addiction?) of interchangeable-lens cameras is once you get into it, there's that urge in building a complete set of lenses to fulfill your photography needs. Even with the poor selection of E-mount lenses, I managed to empty my wallet for 8 lenses in a matter of months:
First I got the 5N with pancake & kit lens. Then I got the two converters for the UWA perspective. Later I got the SEL50F18 for portraits/low-light, and the Fujian 35mm 1.7 as a normal hipster prime. Found I needed more reach&wanted some macro so I got a legacy 100mm 3.5 macro. Finally, I found myself never using the kit lens for it is not wide nor long enough, and got the Tamron 18-200.
Now I have a pretty complete set. But I realize that in any outings I would only be using/bringing at most 3 of them. I don't know if I can pick a few to get rid of as well, for I do use each of them. Or am I just suffering from buyer's remorse after going through gear acquisition syndrome?
now I wish E-mount had a 35mm F2 & 85mm F2.5, those with the 16mm pancake & a converter would be all I need!
