Post Your Best Hayes Island Effect Pixs Here

It's completely different from everything that I've seen.

To have access to this place you have to enter through a normal door with no sign.

You better find a person who knows which is the door because this place is inside the old medina (city).

In Fez (Morocco) the old medina has 90 km (55 miles) of streets (all narrower than a car). :)

Nice photo.....I'll bet it would be interesting to go through a
tour and watch how they do it.

Colin, I think when I first saw that, I said "I like It"....well
it's true, it's true. I still think it is one of the best.

I like the second one a lot except for the main coming out ot the
tunnel. With him partially gone, my eye tends to wander off the
edge looking for him..otherwise it's gooood. My preference.

I think we all owe Bud Guinn (and others) a big thank you for posting actions to allow us to do this type of photo. I know I do.

Well, thank-you Muriel, I don't think anyone has had more fun than I. I really enjoy seeing all of the other pics that are displayed. All look good, but some are breathtaking. Again, some have that something....some intangible thing that just makes you pause.

I am in the process of making a new "toy" that may be helpful...not photoshop related. It's in my brain, now if I can get these old hands to work....well I need to wait for the parts and pieces.

I flew above the crater just months after it had blown....it hadn't been put off limits yet....I came over the rim, and then dropped down into it...I think I have some pictures someplace...it still had a small cone steaming in the bottom. It was amazing the destruction that it caused...whole forests just blown over. Had a friend living in Kent, Wash. that we used to visit once a year until they moved to indiana.

My family calls Helen my second wife. I've been there about a dozen times over the past 10 years or so.

It's my number one photo spot. The helecopter tour is a lot of fun. You go right into the crater. The falls are still there and steam is rising. As of last fall, the cone inside was just under 1,000ft.

That is an excellent job. Certain photos look better with this effect, and this is one of them.
