I hope this whets the appetite of those wanting a LX camera, and for those who already have one, well maybe it will whet your appetite for your local farmer's market. C&C always welcomed.

Eternity was in that moment.

Daniel they all look so good. Nice close up of the strawberries and cherry tomatoes. The Dungeness Crab and salmon - seeing these is a torture. I'm getting hungry!

I too went to (my downtown) Mountain View farmers market this morning but only picked up a baguette, a few tomatoes and a carton of eggs.
Nice series from your LX-5.

Cheers
Rick

I like the Tomatoes, the strawberries and the pears.May be because I am a vegetarian. ;)

Best regards Daniel.

Very impressive color and detail Daniel. Did you shoot raw, or are these jpegs out of the camera? I am still learning the LX5 and so far do not have anything as nice as these.

Good work Daniel love the colours if they were taken in JPEG WOW that's one thing I have always thought LX5 wins over LX3.

Fine set, Daniel.. good compositions and colors ;) .. my pick are the tomatoes for divine lighting and consequently adorable colors.. the third shot (white stuff) is that some-kind of cheese?.. well done :D ..

Thanks for sharing,

Hi, Daniel, what a lovely colourful set, bright vibrant reds, certainly is wetting my appetite, but what, mmm better look for a local market ;-)

Love the tomatoes and pears. Beautiful all!

WOW! incredibly lively set. The colours in the tomatoes shot and in the last whole apple shots is perfect. as is the light and composition. The strawberries are over done IMHO, unless that was the real colour and light, and in that case the farmer should get some credit too. Did you PP that shot a lot?

I'm always amazed and very impressed at how well you handle colour shots, and how realistically you understand shades and colour even though you are colour blind. I wouldn't have believed it possible, and these are a wonderful example.

all the best

Daniel, your set shows how it's not what you see, but how you see it. I feel like I was there. Thanks for sharing these fine photos, Mike

Excellent. Love the colors. Like them all, but the second is my favorite.
