LOL!!!!! That's Great!!!
You have a good sense of humor.
I guess I just miss the white-eye.
I've made a copy of the link. Perhaps I'll get one and see how I
like it. Will I be forced to use photoshop? I despair at the
prospect of learning a new editing program. I use PSP and I'm good
at it. If I goto photoshop, even if it is better, it will be worse
for awhile at least. Oh well. Does it force me to use photoshop?
I don't think you'll have any problem using PSP. The tablets are
great. My first oine was a REAL cheap one by KB Gear. It had a
corded pen. But I only paid $30 dollars for it.
The Wacoms are regarded as the best, and are the industry standard
for graphic artists. You can get HUGE tablets that are better for
actual drawing, but for photo-editing, I believe the 4x5 GraphireII
or the Intuos 6x8 (or is it 9?) work better. And it requires less
desk space. My cheapo KB Gear was a 6x8, and I was considering that
size in a Wacom, but then you have to go with the more expensive
Intuos line. I wasn't ready to spend that yet, so I stuck with the
$99 Graphire. One big advantage is the increased pen pressure
levels you get with the Intuos. The Graphire is something like 512
levels, and the Intuos give you over 1000. This gives you
incredible control with pen pressure.
Trust me, once you get one of these, it's as freeing as the LiPo
is. I even find myself using the pen at times (instead of supplied
mouse) for web browsing.
