Hi everyone, Just returned from the Galapagos Islands a couple weeks ago and wanted to post a few pics taken with a D80 and Tamron 17-50 2.8 & Nikon 70-300.

What an amazing place! Absolutely incredible animals and the ability to get up close is like nowhere else on earth. Spectacular trip for anyone who's ever looked for a unique photo experience.

Penguins on the equator...who knew?

Male Giant Tortoises

Feet shot of a Flightless Cormorant

Pup Sea Lion waiting for Mom

One of my favorite shots - A black Marine Iguana

Watch your step - these guys were everywhere

Nursing Sea Lion only a week or 2 old

What great pics. Thanks for sharing.

This was my 2nd trip with Lindblad Expeditions to the Galapagos and highly recommend them to anyone who's considering a trip there.

They certainly are not cheap but the itineraries are amazing and Lindblad has put together an incredible crew both on board the ship and expert naturalists to give you some great tours while on the islands.
