Fine set, Carol.. love to see the bridge spanning over snow covered surface instead of classical and boring masses of the water, LOL .. lovely captures, hesitant to make a winner, they are both brilliant ;) .. thanks for sharing and thanks for running the "show" :D ..

Best regards,

Serene image, Dez.. beautifully captured evening scene, love the pastel colors (I'm not sure about the "fire-engine" red, LOL).. shouldn't be the lonely person siting in front of light house - assuming a young mother with a stroller - home at this hour? Thanks for sharing :D ..

Best regards,

Damn it, just when I was getting over being home sick from all the photos posted from the Lake District, Fylde Coast, West Country, London (all places I've lived, walked over, enjoyed) by the 'local. posters (and good photogs) here on this forum , along you come with great shots of Derbs. (anothe hiking area I love).

Nice Work. I may have to return from Florida for a UK Home coming!

Hang on! You guys still have winter! I think I'll stay in the Sunshine State a while!

Brian :-)

Opps - Yorkshire and Durham as well!

Oops, missed the 'better times'. Guess you must be experiencing a mild winter. Yikes, no skating?? Rick
That's correct Rick. No skating yet. But severe frost is coming now. :)

Rick, Lee and Jazzbazz: thanks for your kind comment on this picture.

Good set, Ponchik.. the second image is very soothing - the whole scenery is kind of sleeping, including the big freighters in the background taking a break and lie at anchor ;) .. thanks for posting :D ..
