Beautiful macro shots of a real "show-off" flower. . . . looks like you used natural light on the first one. Excellent close macro (redundant?) on the second one . . . great job.

Good eye for lighting Gary. Caught the afternoon sun through the blinds. Hard to beat it. Same lighting for the macro that used the MCON/AP/tripod. I shot a few RAW shots of the closup and though I have little experience with the ORF conversion I wasn't impressed with other than the length of time I sat and watched a little hour glass waiting for the file to import. Someday I've got to spend the time to really figure it out. Too many here have been convinced that it's a better way to go. I still plod along with low compression JPG.
