Hi Ben,

Wow you certainly look like you enjoyed the holiday...wonderful buildings and love the POV. The beaches too look inviting.
Hope 2012 is a good one.

Very nice set of pics.

I especially liked the ones of the dragon in the Pavilion shopping mall. I have a HX9V myself and its a very handy and capable camera to travel with, or just have with you.
Thank you!

I took my DSLR as well but I used the HX9 more being so handy and easy to pocket.

Hi Bill,

Overall holidaying in KL is not that expensive. There are many affordable and clean accommodation places and food and taxi fares are very, very cheap!

Thank you Jill!

Yes it was a very nice break after a busy year at work. I find Malaysia a wonderful place to visit and relax.
Best wishes also for you and Ernest for a happy and healthy 2012.

Benoz, Nice images of a very special place. I was there for a week as a U S army soldier on leave in 1967. It was so unusual seeing Chinese, Indians and Malaysians living in harmony. I would love to go there again and it looks like K L has definitely become a modern forward looking city. hawk65

Thank You hawk65!

There have been times about 40 years ago when there was a bit of friction between the different nationality people but now I find Kuala Lumpur quite safe, very clean and friendly. KL especially has developed outstanding projects and great shopping malls.
Definitely recommend it as an holiday destination.
Cheers,
Ben
