Hi there,

I'm new to dpreview forums, based in Southern Germany.

Below you will find some shot I did recently at the water power station in Kochel with is south west from Munich near the alps.

Hope you like it.

Martin

Grüß Gott,

I didn't know that it is possible to visit that power plant. I like the black and white conversion, gives the images a retro look very suitable to the subject.
I hope you have fun with your V1 and with this forum :)

Hallo Myzel,

yes I'm having fun with the V1, as it is exactly what I was looking for. A Nikon P7000 with changeable lenses.

You can visit the power plant, there seems to be guided tours to, but I shot the images from a platform which is accessable for visitors. No glas between you and the machines.

Martin

Thanks for this set. Excellent composition and execution. I never thought to visit a powerplant, but will check around for some here.

Hi Martin,
I liked your pictures. Very interesting, and very well done.
Did you shot all of them handheld?
Thanks for sharing.
André

Hi André, yes all handheld, Auto ISO to 800 and switching between automatic mode and "P". It's unbelievable how good the stabilisation works. Sometimes I'm wondering how clear the images are with exposure times that are far from "fast".

Martin

I'm very impressed the way the ISO 800 images came out. Very well done. What a great little camera. Thanks for sharing

Welcome Martin.

I really like your style - you have a good eye for composition.

Very nice shots and impressive B&W conversion! I like the "look".

Great composition on your photos! I really like what the B&W brings to the table in the case.
