Nex-7 Desert Landscapes, Sunrises, and Sunsets...

Very cool set - 2, 4, 5, and 8 really stand out. Where were these taken?
2&5 on the Beeline Hwy 87 from Payson to Phoenix (Mesa)...4&8 were taken from the Usery Park Campground/Trails in Mesa, Az...

There were so many "better" shots along the Beeline Hwy but we were in a rush to an appointment with some folks and couldn't stop on the way up which is the best shooting...

Some more very nice stuff LTZ. If you have a chance to return to Arizona some day, try March or April when the desert is in bloom. You won't be disappointed.

Nice series shots man. Is that you truck? cool truck!

....and the truck is pretty good too :-)

You've a good eye - particularly # 4, the light is fantastic and a great capture. No crit intended but I might be tempted to crop most of the sky.

Great idea on cropping the sky...yes I think less would be more and take out some of distracting sky....

Very nice LTZ, you can really see the detail from the 7 on these, were they taken with the kit lenses?

Great scenery and shooting. The 4th pic is stunning, with a magical feeling of distance and depth (aerial perspective, to be exact).

Great shots and dang I love that truck but limp-wristed pinko inside of me bemoans the gas usage, but great rig with your trailer. Envy.

Agreed shot 4 has special feel to it. I like the UFO's in the last shot.

Makes me want to leave town right now. Jump on my motorbike and just go! If only Texas wasn't so freaking huge :(

Whoa! That your Freightliner? Now I not only have camera-envy, I have to deal with truck-envy as well!! :)

Great shots. Loved them all. Did you have an ND filter for the sun-shot? And the one with the crows is an oddity of timing: apparently you caught them with tucked wings... makes them look like bullets in flight! Haven't seen them do that.

Sometimes you just have to get on/into something and leave Les...that's exactly what I do...load up and go...

I am going to take those UFO's out and repost also crop the sky in the Superstition Mountains shot...

The truck gets 8 mpg uphill or downhill with a 17k RV in tow...lol...
