Who says you can't shoot a wedding with a D60??? (It wasn't even my
D60!)
--Both of these shots were taken with a borrowed D60 and a 17-35mm
f/2.8 L lens. During the wedding I also used a 28-135 IS lens (now
sold, replaced with a 28-70 f/2.8 L for the next wedding) and a
70-200 f/2.8 L.
The reason I used the borrowed D60 and 17-35 L was that they belong
to the groom, who only got both a few days before the wedding, and
decided he wanted the extra resolution for the "main" photographer
pix. (The 17-35 is also a little wider than the 20mm f/2.8 prime
that I usually use). I normally use a D30, which was in the hands
of the second photographer for the wedding.
Since the handling of the D60 and D30 are so similar (they are
basically the same camera), I agreed to use his camera. It is not
something that I would do with a camera that I am not familiar
with... no matter how good a friend he is!

Thanks Wayne!Yup, I thought so! I have the '60 and the 17-35L. I got that lens
because I have in the back of my mind I might like to shoot
weddings now and then. I remember from the few I shot 15 or so
years ago how nice my 28mm lens was and with the 1.6, this was
close.
Good Shots!
--Do you find 2 - 256MB cards enough? I usually fill 1-1/2 1 gig
Microdrives.
Take a look
