That's amazing. I would be satisfied with the hawk shot in my backyard but to get them both is definately a big plus. Thanks for sharing.

No he didn't get him but followed another hawk that was squawking nearby. It's that time of the year you know.

Both shots are candidates for a good old fashioned captioning contest!
That is a fine shot!!! I've tried to photograph the squirrels in our backyard teasing the hawks.
Your hawk is a red-shouldered hawk and they don't bother the squirrels, even when they tease them!!
As a matter of fact, they seldom bother other birds.
They like frogs, snakes, and crayfish more than anything.
They really like shrimp, and 2 years ago, we had one that would come down and get shrimp that I laid on a rock.
Again, it is a great photograph .
