Hawk vs Squirrel

That's amazing. I would be satisfied with the hawk shot in my backyard but to get them both is definately a big plus. Thanks for sharing.

That is a fine shot!!! I've tried to photograph the squirrels in our backyard teasing the hawks.

Your hawk is a red-shouldered hawk and they don't bother the squirrels, even when they tease them!!

As a matter of fact, they seldom bother other birds.

They like frogs, snakes, and crayfish more than anything.

They really like shrimp, and 2 years ago, we had one that would come down and get shrimp that I laid on a rock.

Again, it is a great photograph .
