Hump Haters Unite!

Hey, if they can finally get around to improving high ISO and DR, I don't give a flying fig where they put it.

The only thing I would say is that if you're right eye dominant, a EVF on the far left side of the camera would be a *****.

SFGal....left rear of camera to right eye...no problem.

I totally agree, such a discussion and this thread is actually useless, because mirrorless allows both designs anyway, so everybody can choose. Unfortunately, the rangefinder fanboys continue campaigning against the DSLR design, and there should not be the impression of that there are no supporters of the hump.

Speaking of DR ... have you tried Lightroom 4 beta? It is amazing what the new process version of LR 4 can recover from my raw files. It is not just subtle, for some of my images it is almost jaw dropping. The effect is so good, that I would not view DR as a problem with my GH2 as much as before. Of course nothing can be done if all color channels are clipped to 255, but for the rest it is very good.

I never thought, that raw processing still has so much headroom to be exploited.

I've heard that from some others too about the beta 4. I skipped V3 but might not skip this one, if such is the case. Thanks for the heads up.
