Would you mind telling me what settings you used on yur 730 to get that king of definition of the moon. All my moon shots are just a blur of light. No definition at all.

Like Wayne asked, I'd love to hear the exact settings your C-730 was in. Those are gorgeous pics of the moon!! Thanks for sharing.

Spot meter the moon and bracket your exposures.
If you dont spot meter the camera averages the light. Most of the frame is black sky, so the camera exposes for the dark sky and the moon ends up a bright ball.
Nice moon shot, a bit overexposed IMO.

Question: The EXIF says the focal length is 177mm (3x59) which means it was full optical AND full digital zoom, but I do not see the degradation the digital zoom would have caused. Has the picture gone through substantial reprocessing in Photoshop?
