I can't seem to find the model you describe, and you don't mention what camera you will use, however, I can recommend the Bogen/Manfrotto 3030 quick release head. I use one on my Hakuba carbon fibre legs, and I love it. It cost $55.00 and has a very useful classical pan / tilt system with large easy to use rubber handles, and a proven QR system. I use it with my Canon D 60 and I find it very useful both in the studio and in the field. It also comes in green color for Gitzo users. I bought another base plate, ( they are very readily available), and put it on my telephoto lens, for really quick and safe changes.

PS. Now that I recall, the machining on the vertical tilt was a little rough when I bought it, and I had to smooth it down with some emery paper: works great now. You might want to try before you buy. ( I got mine on the 'net). I have had several Bogen tripods and heads for video and still, and I have always found them to be an excellent value, and useful for the job at hand.
