Has anyone seen any slide scans from this unit? I'm thinking of picking up one of these to scan some old (pre D60) slides, mainly for web output. Any links out there to some scans?

OK, I'll wade in here and say something! :-)

I've had this scanner for a few months now, and am very pleased with the results of negatives scanned on it. (Sorry, can't comment on slides, but I don't see why they wouldn't be as good as the negs.)

All I can say about this scanner, buy it. Great scanner for the money real high quailty. I just bought one last week and I am very impressed with it. I was a scanner operator for years in printing and I tell you , I really am amazed at how fast and the quailty not to mention how good the color is with little effort.

I whisper if it's possible to see some samples of 35mm films or slides scanned with the Epson Perfection 2400.
Thanks,

I realize this "thread" is a little old, but I thought I would jump in and add my 2 cents worth anyway. My 2400 is about 10 days old, and I have scanned about 150 slides with it.

Overall I am quite happy with the results.

I do have one little problem, however: Every now and then the scanner seems to get confused and will incorrectly identify the source as being a color negative instead of color positive film (slide).

The only way that I have found to correct it, is to do a manual scan, tell it that it really is a color positive source - then it behaves for a while.

Anybody else experience this?
