Reading mode: Light Dark

best mode for hx9v

For me it's P. Program lets me set the color mode and contrast, but change ISO to reduce noise or increase shutter speed. Like here. I chose to reduce noise. I knew that the leaves were going to give me noise, so I tried with 100ISO.





Here I used 800 because it was nearly dark and 800 was okay not for
me to go 1600 or 3200.





I like the HX9V. It's speed and movie with zoom for it's size is a good mix.
 
cool shots i love my hx9v .but sady my fav subjects are wildlife and i guess ill have to spring to see any wildlife

Theyre in the menu (menu button) if you scroll down more and more.
 
opps i mean what do i change them to?is there a best settings to use under p mode? id say most my shots are of birds or other small animals also insects

I would use real mode with high contrast. The reason is I like natural colors with optimal highlights and bold shadows. I probably would change to vivid for specific subject matter in a landscape.
