This is another shot from Wickiup Resv.OR). I was fighting the sun on my left and mist on the water, used polarizing filter. I cropped the image, did some slight brightness and color level adjustments and used unsharp mask (which cleaned up a lot of the mist) and cloned out a sun reflection on the lens. Any suggestions as to what else I could have done to improve this photo?

Terrific shot. I enjoy shots with good reflections. You certainly captured one that has great material to be reflected. Can't think of anything more you might do except leave well enough alone and enjoy it. Happy Holidays!

Very beautiful shot!! You put up a great fight with the sun and the mist.. I think you won!! (o: The only suggestion to improve it that I could make is to print it out like sofa size, put it in a really nice matte and guilded frame and send it to me for Christmas! It would look beautiful in my foyer... heh, heh...
Merry Christmas!

Thanks Mary. I don't think my little HP deskjet printer can handle sofa size pics - however, I have access to a plotter at work that prints on rolls of paper that are about 3 feet wide - hmmm.....

Now that you mention it... Yes, a nice print on 36" 20# color bond will do nicely.... LOL. Heck... I'm sure we could come up with some other plotter stock too....Vellum would be too much I think... hmm..this could be something to think about....Plotter prints!!! (o:

Rich Babcock,

Sorry I missed this on the first go round. Very fine pic and nicely processed. I'm with the others, print it and enjoy it! The image and composition is strong enough to carry a wide matte and frame.

Cheers,
