2 & 3 look great, like paintings. Did you apply a lot of sharpening?

Colors are really great.
Angles are unique.

I like the composition of #2.

As for the degradation of quality, I think that happens often as the server compresses the files further but I don't know for sure.

Real nice - I think #2 is my favorite. Have the same experience with the compressing. Very disapointing when pictures getting destroyed. Not so tempting to share when you know this happens. Do somebody know any solution? I see that some of you don't get any compression at all - even in original size. Is this just a random case or do you have any trick?

I definitely did apply a very light amount of sharpening but on all 4 of them with equal settings. It is strange that the 'compression' seemed to only happen to the 1st and last which made them 'muddy' somehow? I'm curious also how to post without compression? Any ideas?

I post HD images to my gallery and there is an option I can use to download the originals which do not seem to be compressed. These images are 1920x1080 JPGs with quality set to max (12 on the slider in photoshop elements 9.

When posting these images and then looking at the posts, I cannot get the original; I can only get the small, medium, and large. I have to go to my gallery and download the original. I believe anyone can go to my gallery and download the original, but I have seen other peoples' galleries in which the download option "Original" is not available. I don't know why this would be so.

I find the original in your galleri. I have the same experience that the original usually seems ok, but the other options (small, medium, large) could have a quite heavy compressed look. Your example seems ok in these options. Is it because the picture is not as much downsized as I often do (about 800x530). That doesn't make much sense to me.

But who many bother to search for the original in the galleries! I usually don't! But many of the pictures looks ok in the posts, but why this inconstinency?
