Dear All,

well you all did splendidly, we have a good number of contenders with some exiting entries and what's more, if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time we have more entries in the Competition gallery (25) than in the Exhibition gallery (23) ! Bravo !

Unfortunately there were also some issues, rather surprisingly as the instructions IMO are pretty clear ... :|
  • Moved two entries from Competition to Exhibition as the shooting date was not within the submission period,
  • Resized one image because it was ridiculously large,
  • One image without proper title and artist name missing,
  • Exif data missing from three images.
Right, enough grumpiness for now: let's get on with the show !

Here are the instructions for voting, please read them carefully:

1. Everyone is invited to vote, but do not vote for your own entries ...
 :P
2. Look for [Leica Challenge 53] on the voting page.

3. Please vote in both galleries (Competition & Exhibition).

4. Type your name; then cast 4 points to your favourite shot (mandatory).

5. Cast any number below 4 for other shots that you like (up to 16 points total per gallery).

6. Lastly, confirm your vote (click button [Save your votes]).

7. For guidance click on "show rules" or "show help".

8. If still in doubt, please PM me.

9. Those who have entered this challenge should vote as a matter of course ... ;)

The voting period will end Monday January 9 at 21:00 GMT , then shortly thereafter the winners will be announced.

Please keep this thread up-to-date by posting here a short message, e.g "voted [nt]", after voting.

Now here is the voting thread for Leica Forum Challenge 53 :: SIMPLY RED ::

Thank you for participating, have fun and may the best entry win !

Bart,

I'm a bit confused.

What does 'thank you' mean?
  • Thanks for voting? - Why not thanks to all?
  • Thanks for giving your shots highest votes? - Why checking and communicating things like that before end of voting?
  • Any other reason?
And comments like this already appered during voting period for last challenge.

Please, this are just personal considerations, not real questions;-)
But maybe this a reason not participating in this challenge (but I voted).

Kind regards

rusch07

The reason is quite simple: I'm thanking those people because although they didn't participate in the challenge, but still took the time and effort to vote !

That's all, dear Rusch.
And of course I thank you too for voting !
:)
