Why my gear is the best

My current camera is without a doubt the best camera that anyone could have. It is smaller than cameras that are larger and heavier but still takes pictures that are just as good unless you blow it up to some unreasonable size, and anyway I would never want to carry those cameras around. It has more and better knobs and dials than cameras that cost less, and it takes vastly better pictures. Does it shoot in low light? You bet it does! Maybe not as well as cameras that are designed for that, but I wouldn't want those for other reasons that include some combination of size and price. Competing models might be better in certain ways, but the ways in which they are worse are much more important. Cameras that are built to higher standards are pricey collectors' items, and cameras that are built worse are complete junk. It is better either because it has stabilization, or else it is better because I did not have to pay for overrated features like stabilization. Don't believe me? Here are some pictures that I never would have taken with another camera because either I would not have it with me or else the image quality would have sucked eggs.

The only way that my camera could possibly get better is if they update the sensor and add a dial for this and a button for that.

What? They did? Damn.

Your BEST camera seems even to take invisible photo's.

Excellent summary of this forum's discussions! Well done.

Now that's 'Entertainment' !

Well done, Vjim ;)

My camera has a singular feature that makes photography with every other camera an exercise in futility. And my pictures are so good that they transcend the visual light spectrum so I can't even show them to you. Therefore, good day to you, sir!

Too funny Tim!!!

Cheers,
Rik

I'm getting the new one with the updated sensor and the dial for this and a button for that.
No way I'd suffer with Tim's obsolete piece of junk.

I was thinking about getting this one also but it has no BI EVF and they changed the battery type...oh well, I guess I'll have to keep my piece of junk!!!

You forgot that you also need a switch for the other. The fact that you forgot that makes you a terrible person who should be shunned in polite society.

No, no, no. People who insist on the switch are exactly the kind of insatiable complainers who ruin this forum. Unlike them I would be satisfied with a button and the dial. Plus a few more stops of sensitivity. But that's it.

But you need the switch that does the other in order to quickly change between taking pictures of stuff and taking pictures of bits. If you don't have the switch you end up having to search through a menu, and then you'll never be ready to take pictures of bits when you're prepared to take pictures of stuff, and you certainly won't be able to take pictures of stuff when you're prepared to take pictures of bits.
