Sometimes I think that I am a fair weather photographer. There is so much sunny weather in California that clouds and fog can bring a special quality to the landscape. Most people dread our winter fog in the California Delta. So today, the first day of 2012, I ventured out to our local historic towns to capture some "dreary" scenes. Jeff Hart
That's very nice...enjoyed seeing your images. We've had a lot of clouds and fog also in the Portland, Oregon area. So, it's been difficult to take pictures in this cold damp weather, but it does provide for us that mood, that we won't get in the warmer spring and summer months. I've been also taking pictures in the rain.
Here's my recent dreary day pictures that I posted on OTF.
I recognize the Paintersville Bridge, I like how it's fading into the fog though I've only shot it without the fog. I guess that makes me a fair weather shooter.
