Seeing things quit different as they are at first glance. I had to crop a lot before finding something i can watch ...

I mean i would never had seen that without the EX1.

Photography makes you more observant.

Your pushing the EX1 in that low level of light at ISO200, I am pushing it in another direction, my still life is taken at 2x digital zoom, then cropped some more.

A bit more optical zoom would have been handy for this shot.

Another crop, a bit more large.

I guess it's a difficult subject, still life... i'm also not the master of the focal distance here.

Low light because, the little white flowers are all over the original photo.

Another one :) for some reasons i couldn't frame it another way even if this is on the edge... ok it needs cleaning.

Detail at 100% looks very good. Composition wise it looks a little unbalanced to me. Still life can be a challenge at the best of times.

Another one ... (dirty !)

While cleaning the dishes... now, this is the last of 5 pics (i tried also sketch effect) then this is "classic", and i put also some liquid soap on the surface (for avoiding the dry looking effect... getting more plasticity)... there is a silly white artifact on the right.

It's all about framing. The 5 others pics are not as "good", i means consistent, you see immediately it's just a casserole.

Macro need to have every thing under control.

Hoarfrost flower on new year's eve, taken with the venerable GX-1L and a manual focus Pentax 50 mm lens.

What I like about the casserole shot is the off centre framing which seems to make it look more engaging.
