S45 LCD strange waves??

when looking at the LCD in auto mode I see wavey lines almost like poor TV
reception. Is this defective. Should I return it for a new one

You will see strange things in an LCD depending on the light conditions and even viewing angle. You would have to be more specific.

I think I may know what you're talking about. My S45 had that too...but I thought it was just normal. However, it also had a stuck pixel on the CCD so it's being exchanged anyway. I'll let you know if the new one also has "wavey lines" when I get it.

if you point your camer a to a bright light, it'll have vertical red line on the lcd.
