AA Battery Case?

I've seen these but have not been able to find a place to actually
buy them, anyone know where I can get a hold of such an item?
Thanks-

Hi Eric,

I think Eagle Eye in the U.K. used to carry one - might be worth taking a look at http://www.eagleeyeuk.com

But it's extremely easy to make them. I use PVC. You can usually buy schedule 40 (thin wall) PVC caps at most hardware stores - about 1.5" works well to hold 4 AA batteries. Here's a shot of what it looks like...

Excellent idea, thank you for that tip.

I'm making plans for a trip to Costa Rica so I'm making sure I have enough of what I need and that it's accessible.

BTW- Batterybarn.com has a terrific sale on Lenmar 1800mh nimh AA's - US$8.95 per set of 4. Free shipping or orders over $25 so I ordered three sets of 4 for $28 delivered, not a bad deal at all-

When you are putting batteries back in the container (nylon case)
after they are discharged, simply put the discharged ones in upside
down and you will never have to "guess" about their charge...

I like the battery holder from Radio Shack (#270-391A), dirt cheap. About $1.00 last one I bought. Just cut off the leads and tape over the terminals.

Porters camera store has a cool one that holds batteries and cf card. they also have nice plastic ones intended for film that I use for aa batteries. They are small, come in different colors and hol;d 8-10 batteries each

For storing batteries at home, there is a plastic utensils basket at Walgreens for (about 1 foot long and 4" wide) for under $1 and can hold over a dozen AAs. One could be used for the charged and one for the discharged ones.

Silly but cheap and practical :)

I bought several pocket protectors from Office Depot. I cut them so the batteries slip inside and have a flap on the back that folds down over the front. you can tuck the flap inside, or I bought some stickon velcro dots, to hold the flap down. Made 5 holders for about $4

My real cheap solution for batteries is an old plastic cassette box. It holds 8 batteries. For compact flash cards I bought a pack of dental floss, took out the floss and reel and the box now holds 4 compact flash cards easily.
