Contacted Fujifilm Germany (regarding X10 wbs)

Hello to all

On November 28th I wrote an e-mail to Fujifilm Germany:

I bought fujifilm X10 in Munich (Foto Video Sauter) so am asking Fuji Germany to help out and comment on a following problem with camera. The best explanation of a problem, with pictures (showing the problem) included is on following address (well known DPReview Forum) and it seems that this is a problem with all Fuji X10 cameras.

On same forum, there are already several discussions about this problem so the news is spreading pretty fast.

Please, forward this mail to who it may concern (technical people, product manager, etc..) and please comment on this issue. Is there a possibility of firmware which would solve this issue or is this hardware error etc. ?

we have heard about problems which appears at some FUJIFILM FinePix x 10 camera. So we have contact our headquarter in Tokyo about that and we are sure getting a solution into the next few days. We are looking forward helping you and hope you will enjoy this beautiful camera.

I will keep you informed in case of any new mail from Fuji.

Baby steps… at least they are acknowledging they’ve heard about it. This is the first time I've seen that. Take hope along with a large grain of salt.

Hi good..also have Fuji Denmark involved and they have sent some of my pics--flutes.saxes..plenty of orbs...to them and say maybe friday i can hear something,they are concerned here as it will not sell well if this is not fixed somehow..the rep said maybe the new firmware is the cause?? 1.02 if anyone has 1.00 or 1.01 and no Orbs please let us know.....
