As some of you are aware, FNG303 has picked up somewhat of a vendetta against me... posting the same comment over and over on my open challenges.
In an attempt to understand this troll, I called up his profile and looked at his comment history - and what I found shouldn't surprise anyone.
He has a long history of attacking hosts and their challenges - frequently complaining because his photos were disqualified for being contrary to the posted rules... and in most cases, inferring the hosts were morons.
Both today and yesterday, I've sent emails to DPR staff asking for the ability to ban or otherwise prevent malicious users from challenges we host... but I've yet to get a reply, and - to be honest - don't expect one since I'm sure this issue has been brought up previously.
I'm not above taking criticism, and have done my best to reply to any questions concisely when needed.
A few of you have pointed out my shortcomings (and probably will do so below) and while that can smart, most observations are on the mark... and I'm doing my best to correct them for the greater good.
However, this doesn't excuse malcontents like FNG303 abusing me and every other challenge host on DPR because they seem to think they're above them and above their posted rules.
DPR is a great place full of generally great users who have vast photographic talents and who are, on the whole, decent human beings.
People like FNG303 put a stain upon DPR... and make other users question whether they want to be here or not (I'm not one of them as I will keep hosting and submitting until the someone pulls the server's plug from the wall).
Alright... I'm going to stop whining now and instead will cry softly into my beer.
However, my points are valid.
Feel free to open fire now, LOL.
