I wanted to get outside to test, i did manage to get out after the rain but it was windy and dull however thought i would share a few, most taken on macro/Smacro, i found i was shooting on p mode. i wanted to shoot on EXR HR mode but anyway i like the Bokeh the camera delivers. I hope the weather will get better to do more testing overall yes im pleased.
regards Alan. :D

Sorry jane.

Very good for first pics.

I look forward to seeing what you can do once you familiarise yourself with the camera.

The colors are wonderful, as we've come to expect from Fuji. What "film" color setting did you use?

yes thanks Dan, been awhile, the only slight problem perhaps im cack handed is putting those metal eyelets on the camera for the strap, however fuji does supply a little plastic tool for the job :D

Alan! First you wow everyone with your HX100V shots and now with the X10!

All excellent shots, but I really like the last two. Second last one is definitely vivid and looks great - not oversaturated at all.

And the photo of Jane really is superb. Close enough to DSLR quality. Superb clarity, tone and detail.

Looks like you'll be selling a lot of these too.. ;)

Are you looking forward to the X-S1 ? Perhaps a hybrid of the HX100V and the X10 ?

Nice shots. The bokeh is looking very nice with the x10.

I found X100 Velvia/Vivid too garish in most situations, so I stopped using it. But X10 Velvia looks a lot more natural in the photos that you, Fuji and others have posted, especially with dull outdoor lighting. It seems to be another of the X100 weaknesses that Fuji fixed in the X10. I'll try Velvia again when I get my X10 ... soon, I hope.

As you claim these images are sooc (straight out of camera) the resolution is wrong. These look great as small images, but the camera should normally give you 6 or 12MP images.

I assume you did something that made these images being posted not straight out of camera but gone through a size reduction which renders them almost unusable to tell us anything about the image quality that would be straight out of camera.
The background blur looks good. That much we can see.

Slowly learning to use the 450D, the Canon G6 and the Fuji F200.

Image quality looks about as good as you could hope for from a camera with this size sensor - and the colours are nice too. I like the bokeh - incl handling of out of focus highlights: it looks like there might be some fun to be had with the X10 in that particular direction.

Enjoy your new camera!
