Hi: I feel like 16 instead of 86 with getting the A77. I’m just going to watch the World Series tonight and forget about my new toy until tomorrow. Wow! It will be hard to refrain. :D

Taken with the A55 and 18-250 Tamron that will be going on the A77.

I may even have a coke to celebrate – Yeah right.

CC, you need a big car now to can choose amoung your cameras on the field :)

Sure you will have good use of your new tool !

Regards, Michel

George, I am very interested in your very first opinion of this camera... AS times goes on, you will learn its pluses and minuses... I want to understand your initial wow factor... Its a Big camera... looks Professional to an outsider.. What was your very first thought when you opened the box...

When I bought my Sony 70-200 SSM 2.8 G Lens... I bought it as a commitment to stick with Sony... This was the point where I made the decision to stick with the A Moun, and not change camera brands.. This was when Sony first took over.. the lens was expensive, but the second I opened the box...I was hit with so much wow factor aesthetically, I knew I made a good decision.. And it only got better once I started using it.

Goerge, George, George.
You know the rules about posting pictures of Sony cameras here.

You must stop NOW! :) :)

I am trying to resist the urge to buy the A65 or A77.

AND YOU ARE NOT MAKING THIS ANY EASIER! _ LOL

Can't wait to see some "chasers" with a full 24 mp resolution.

Have fun.
Maybe we can meet up, so I can try out the A77,
just in case I decide to get one. ;)

I would say Blue skies and warm temps,
but I can not tell a lie.

Stay warm.

George, you did not reply to my question about your initial thoughts on the camera when you opened the box...

Sorry Bill, I read your post and missed replying.

This is a great looking camera, to me it is similar to the A55, just a tad heavier. I have the Tamron 18-250 attached. All the buttons etc are very easy to use and had no problems setting it up. It is going to be fun.

Thanks for the feedback... you have " point " on this camera.. so your input is important..as will your first shots and your feel for the navigation...will you use the GPS Tag to note where the shot was taken..

I was a bit concerned about the size and the weight, not so much for me, but for you... IM happy to hear that it isn't too much camera in size and weight...if it was too uncomfortable , I was concerned you would not like it..

It is heavier than the A55 by quite a bit but it has not bothered me one bit. This is one awesome camera.
