Hi All,

I just installed a new monitor Lacie 324i on a PC running Win XP SP3 through the DVI port. After connecting the supplied USB cable I was asked to install the driver for a "ColorLCD Monitor" device. I could'nt find this driver within the material supplied by Lacie nor could find it on the web.
Any one had this problem and knows where to find such a driver?
The monitor however works fine even without this driver.
Any help will be welcome.

So this monitor uses a DVI and a USB cable?

The USB cable is for the USB hub included in the monitor.

The driver may be only for the usb hub, in which case xp uses it's own and you don't need it, or it may be a control panel type thing to allow you to change monitor settings, colour/brightness etc, in which case you probably don't need it if xp's own generic driver allows you to control these things.

As it's working ok, I'd just ignore it for now.

Thank you for your suggestion. I will ignore it for now.

I contacted LaCie and I was told to disable this "ColorLCD Monitor" device that is not needed by the monitor nor by the included USB hub.
