In spite of reading J1/V1 news and previews, have to write if 60 fps are a must!

Nowadays, as a famous blogger(KR) quoted on Youtube, compact cameras functions tend to be or are incorporated into advanced cell phones.

J1/V1 probably will have its lovers. Personally, I wouldn't give up on my D40 or D90 with 18 55 and 18 105. Have read in this forum many advices about the importance of glass and that´s what one should consider, I think. A good photographer will make anyone stand/stop for more than 5 secs. no matter which camera used. Best wishes.

Let's see if this works:

What do you know, it does work.

Thank you very much...novices you contact will learn a lot from you, and even build a better world. Unfortunately it's not my case...

Your point was a bit hard to follow.

My wife has the iPhone 4S and it is much better then her 4, especially with the W.B. It takes great pictures, but she knows she needs some zoom. The long end of the zoom of the 4S looks digital than optical. She is always looking for her P&S when she knows she needs something better than an phone camera. She only occassionally borrows my D5100. I have to tell her to keep it on the 'sport' mode. She doesn't care about all the functions. She wants to zoom and take the shot.

The N1J1 and N1V1 are for these people. Most of the population does not want to learn all the functions of a DSLR. They don't want to post process other than clicking on the 'enhance' button. They want a camera to take a shot and get the shot. When a video moment occurs, they want to capture that too.

I think when other people start seeing these N1J1 around, they will start to get interested in them. As a Nikon lens owner, getting a 2.7x crop on my 300 gets me a 810 zoom !

Thanks! You got the point.I wonder what the future of photography will be.System after system gadget after gadget...you know what I mean.

Google translate rocks! :P

"You can also, as a result of my posts get a ring is hoping that no one dies poisoned with the crap they carry the body on that side of the Atlantic ...

Another thing is that before or personal bushificado obamizado now has a mania ..."

I have not found 60 frames per second of any use so far but I appreciate that the electronics have got to a point that to do that is possible and the same technology does make the 400 frames per second slow motion possible ... which does interest me as it means I get an extra tool to capture some wildlife behaviour.

I am interested in military history and one of my favourite shots was taken by a chap with a little film camera, looking down onto the deck of a WWII U.S. aircraft carrier, the decking is open and you can see the planes below deck with their wings folded over for storage - I doubt there is a second photo anywhere that shows the same thing. He had it as a small 2 x 3" print, in black and white.

That shot often makes me think about the technical simplicity behind getting the image.
