Over the past few days I've undertaken the daunting task of organizing all of the photo files on my computer. To make the process more tolerable, I have indulged in "dumpster diving" for previously taken photos that have been overlooked and can be redeemed from the trash heap. For your viewing pleasure (or displeasure), here are some of those images rescued from obscurity for a brief moment of glory on this forum:

[ The Valley of Shadow and Depth ]

[ c a r e f r e e]

[ Autumn Rain ]

[ 1808 ]

[ All in a Day's Work ]

[ Crazy Love ]

[ Beach Access ]

[ You're Growing on Me ]

[ Choose Your Own Adventure ]

[ Purple Mountains Majesty ]

[ Canyonlands ]

[ Barrier ]

[ Deciduous Dusk ]

[ First Frost ]

[ Skid Row ]

[ Where the Ocean Meets the Sky ]

[ Rocky Mountain High ]

[ Color Coordinated ]

[ Shadow Leaf ]

[ Partly Sunny ]

[ Go West, Unmanned ]

[ Bowing Bison ]

[ Fields of Gold ]

If these excellent photos were in the trash, I would love to see the ones you thought were good!!!!

.. this was from the trash? You have got to be kidding - they're nice shots. You are kidding, right?

Thanks, sojo2 and Mike. While these images weren't in the trash, they were buried in the scrap heap with all of my photos that don't get promoted to my "best" folder for editing and sharing. In most cases, I had forgotten they even existed. Needless to say, it was fun to rediscover them.

Really nice but my favorites are carefree & autumn rain.

Color Coordinator.........is that a Honda Trail 90 ? Looks like the one I used to have when I was senior in High School and beyond. I loved that bike, had so much fun on it.

Great shots, hope I get that good one day.
Paul
Thaks for the kind words, Paul. Here's to both of us getting better everyday and, most importantly, enjoying ourselves in the process. In my mind, my best shot is always my next shot. That's a huge part of what makes this hobby so fun for me.
Interesting photos, So much variety! They are inspiring. Cheers, Geoff.
Thank you, Geoff. I happen to be someone who shoots whatever catches his eye, which tends to make for a somewhat random and eclectic collection of photos. Variety is the spice of life, right?

Nice work! What were you shooting with?

Edward
Thanks, Edward. All shots are with K-x & DA35 Limited or 18-55 Kit Lens.

Thanks for looking and commenting, Brian. Not sure about the bike, as I didn't notice the make and model. Glad it brought back some fond memories for you!

So you are saying that you can take pictures with these craaptastic lenses

Even though I see your pictures, I refuse to believe :p lol....... People should take note.

You are too kind. I wish my photography were twice as good. Someday it will be.

I'm picking up on your sarcasm here. I agree that it's easy to blame equipment as the limiting factor when it's really the photographer. There are folks out there taking iPhone photos that put my modest work with the K-x to shame. Most of the time, the K-x and kit lens far outstrip my abilities as a photographer.
