USA Sony Store A77s SHIPPING!

The only thing that worries me is the word estimate. I called this number 1-888-900-9872 to verify the ship date. They spoke to their research department and it has been delayed to 11/4 again. Give them a call and see what they tell you good luck. I'am ticked off again!!!!
 
Flip flop the only thing is they won't charge your credit card until they are ready to ship (their policy states this).

As I said SS CS told me twice today that they were notified at noon the shipment would be delayed till 11/4. Then 3 hours later all our CC get charged and a 10/18 shipping date gets posted. I am positive the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing at Sony. I do know my card is charged
 
Just now got conformation email that my A77 LCD screen protector shipped.

I was told when I placed the order that the camera and the screen protector would ship from two different locations. I got my fingers crossed for another conformation email for the body.
 
Pretty impressive that Sony gets this close to their original estimated ship date that they revealed months ago despite all of tthe hazards, issues, and horror weather that has occurred. Well done, Sony.

That being said, I preordered through Amazon on August 25. Wonder when Amazon will get stock enough to ship?

Hopefully soon! Crap' can't wait.
 
I just noticed my Sony A77 screen protector (which was a separate later order) seems to be shipping today as well! All good news! Now if only the battery grip handle would go into stock at B&H ($299.) because you can save some $ over buying that at Sony USA.

Looks like mine is also shpping from SonyStyle USA today, 3 days early. Hopefully I'll have it by Friday so I can play with it over the weekend.

My CZ 16-80 is finally going to take some pictures!

Hey all - are they shipping FedEX or UPS? Just curious, because my a35 came Fed Ex and was a big problem because of their sig required or they won't leave it. I ended up getting a sig card from a driver and taping my shipping notice with the tracking number and my signature on the door, along with the sig card.

I also tried to get home at a time when I expected them, but still no deliivery attempt. So I saw a truck on the drive back to work, chased it down, asked about my package. He called the driver that had my route, but he didn't have it either. I told him it was definitely "on truck for delivery" according to tracking. Turns out hey, they are FedEx Express, mine is on FedEx Ground - two separate companies!

They did leave it on the porch, so the sig worked. Also found my camera case delivered by UPS from B&H with no problems at all.

LOL. But seriously you could at least post some pix of them with your new cam before I decide....

I'm still not sure how I tricked my wife into letting me get the a35, can't imagine getting an a77 and all those lenses.

A man after my own heart - an a65 and expensive lens, rather than blowing it on the a77! Hah!
