New Nikon VR lenses

Has any heard when Nikon will be releasing new VR lenses? They have a 80-400mm but what about other f2.8 zooms? I don't want to buy any f2.8 zooms until I know. Thanks

Hi Peer

I think you are refering to 70-200 VR AFS that is due in March. Do a search for 70-200 vr and you should find a few threads on this subject.

I'm told by a reliable Nikon source that the 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S VR will be released in early 2003. I really wanted one sooner. But, I can't help but think that maybe some additional lenses will be shortly forthcoming. A 300mm f/2.8 AFS VR would be nice - or even longer!
