Thank you all for the excellent entries, it was very hard to even choose the top 5 shots let alone the placement of the winners!

As per the newly suggested rules I'll choose 5 winners, which are:
5th place goes to Jacek Dolota with the amazing tree with spraying water as background makes for a very dynamic yet mysterious shot. I love the B/W conversion which adds to the shot. The tree seems to stand wrong side up with the tree roots at the top and maybe that's how they're supposed to grow in this world
4th place for TimTheOya with the bean in Chicago, a sight I will have to inspect myself one day. Because of the vignette, the underexposed lower part and the mind bending reflection, the bird floating on the wind it makes for a surreal image.
3rd place goes to Shutterbug Nut, excellent expression and scene captured here with a strong composition placing the boat in the center and the captain on one of the vertical third line. The question raises what he's pointing at and why he is so excited. The purple umbrella contrasts with the blues and reds of the boat. Excellent little world!
2nd place Greg1701, a very mysterious image that seems like a UFO with a spirit floating above it. The nightly skyline and wavey sea adds to the atmosphere. I'm sure this is perfectly normal in this world you show here
The winning shot this time goes to (drum roll) IronMan! I kept coming back to this shot. A lot of effort went into editing in the stone golems that are locked into a martial combat. The dynamics and speed of the human body enhanced by martial arts training strifes with the solidness and rigidity of stone in a good way. The viewer is being put on the wrong track by the seemingly peaceful sea scene. As if the fighters portray the battle of the tides between water and land twice a day.
Congrats! The next challenge is for you IronMike! I'm looking forward to what subject you'll come up with!
