My new jumping spider and hot assistance.

I found this little friend on a wall of my Studio this afternoon and shot at it, it's not that hairy as Hawk's and my Opteka macro lens DOF is not as good as his lens, but I did my best.

Now I'm waiting for a Marumi 58mm Macro +3 Achromat Close up Lens (58mm for real); let's wait to see how good it works, in approximately 10 days when it arrives home.

I know this shot is not very good, but my assistance sure it is!
It was hot around here this afternoon...

Nice shots aaanouel. Depth of field is so hard to contend with, but you did well. That

is a very young looking spider, I bet it was pretty small. Because I don't have an HX100 I wonder how much distance from your lens to the spider? Was this hand held and did you use natural light? Nice work, you keep improving each time you post. hawk65

Thanks Hawk

Camera was near 15-20cm from her (may be young but not as tiny), the shutter was very slow (1/13 and 1/8sec) because of low lighting. At first I shot totally hand held and wasted some burst, then I leaned the top side of the lens against the wall and got rid of shaking, my assistance helped pointing a bicycle white light LED lamp (TMart).

As the jumping little spider she likes to pose as well and she has enough to. I'll surely post some shots, I'm just waiting for a trip to a volcano next week to get better and more elaborated photos of her also.
