I really can't see what could lead you to thinkthat it is a "hidden" marketing site from Samsung....

Alas! Samsung are so bad at marketing that you can found this advice under the "Which brand of camera?" article of this "marketing site":

"So, our advice, and sorry to fans of any other brand, it to go for an SLR from Canon or Nikon." and again a bit later: "So, our advice is go for Nikon or Canon, and you can’t really go wrong. If you want another brand, ..."

Talk about being a Samsung chill... with friends like that, you probably don't need ennemies... ;-)

LOL. You don't think it would hold more weight to blindly, non-specifically recommend people to another brand, altogether, then push the one they're working for eventually?

Look at the recommendations- they're non specific, hugely generalized for brands, as well as inaccurate, then out of nowhere, they're in a Samsung meeting and saying the camera looks like a million bucks and were only told later that it was a Samsung?

You seriously think that Samsung is secretly behind a website that suggests people not buy Samsung... And faked a 'leak' of an impending camera that bests their newest model NX200, an act that threatens to steal away sales and interest in that model, without really having such a thing in development at all.

Samsung assassinated JFK and was behind 9/11, too, I suppose.

We all know the internet is a wierd place, and DPR is one of the wierdest on the internet.

I ask for some evidence. There are some pretty serious things being said, how can you tell that this is a marketing exploit, rather than a wannabe "rumours" site. All these rumours sites are suspect, IMO.

He won't. In another thread dealing with batteries, he made some reasonable but questionable statements so I asked for some of the details that he claimed to have observed but hadn't provided. His response was to tell me to look it up. In other words he's fully capable of making statements that he'll never back up with his own details or sources, and doesn't even pretend to care about the loss of credibility that this produces. Anyone that blindly accepts what he says does so at their own peril.

He won't. In another thread dealing with batteries, he made some reasonable but questionable statements so I asked for some of the details that he claimed to have observed but hadn't provided. His response was to tell me to look it up. In other words he's fully capable of making statements that he'll never back up with his own details or sources, and doesn't even pretend to care about the loss of credibility that this produces.
