Hi

In Rome recently I shot a series of the interior of the Pantheon. Just for a bit of fun really, 10 shots, all around the inside of the dome. I pulled them into ICE and this is what I got.

I was actually quite impressed that ICE recognised that they were shot around a central point, being the hole at the top of the dome. However it is currently beyond my PP skills (and probably my software) to correct this photo into a circle. As you can see it's a bit distorted.

I am wondering if anybody can help me correct this to a circular shape ?? (would Hugin have done any better ?)

This posted jpeg is about half the full size, so if you want the full size jpeg let me know and I can e-mail it or something (or even send the original 10 shots).
Any help appreciated!!

Thanks,

Rod

Hi rod,

You can do this with one of the transform options in Photoshop.
Select your picture with the rectangular marquee tool
Right-click your mouse in the selected area and choose: free transform.
Right-click your mouse and choose: warp

Now you can adjust your picture by dragging the four corners in the right position.
When it looks ok, press enter.
That's it!

Thanks Cindy

I have been to Rome 3 times in the last 6 years and I can never walk past the Pantheon without stopping and/or going in, it's just such an impressive building. My fave building in all of Rome.

Cheers,

Rod

wow thanks two hands. Something else I didn't know I could do in Photoshop.
One problem though.

I have Photoshop 7 which doesn't have "warp" listed in the options. I tried using the other options that were listed but I can't seem to achieve what you managed. I can only assume you are using a newer version of Photoshop ?

Cheers,
