Canon is closing shop on the 1d line...

This is an international forum with people from America, Europe and Asia, and very often English is not the mother tongue.
Last time I checked, Houston was still part of the United States, unless Texas has seceded -- again! ( Texas Ordinance of Secession; February 2, 1861)
Give that nitwit Perry time, he will probably try.

It's easy, and whilst your (sorry, you're) pondering on it, just have a slice of bread with some of Mary's liver paté on it...
Now hang on, is that liver paté made by Mary, or paté made with Mary's liver ???
This is why I spend more time in the m4/3 forum. With nothing new to talk about, all we do in the Canon forum is take shots at other peoples grammar. Oh, wait, I meant "other people's grammar."

Damn, now I'm confused, so if I write "other people's grammar" that would mean "other people is grammar?"

I should have been paying more attention in my English as a Second Language course.

lol.

thats a negative on me wanting texas to secede.

our sleeping majority would then turn texas over to mexico, then the cartels would be running the show.

Despite the content, bashing someone for the wrong grammar (it's vs. its) is as poor as it can gets.

This is an international forum with people from America, Europe and Asia, and very often English is not the mother tongue.

I have seen this a couple of times now and wish that would be stopped. I mean, I don't object to a polite correction of misspelling (even though it won't distribute any useful content to the topic), but the way dotcom has responded was clearly connected to his aversion to the OPs topic or opinion.
I thought he let him off lightly, seeing it was the 1483rd pointless rumour this year.
