I took this photo on Jan 28th, 2011 - the day that Egyptian government forces opened fire on protesters converging on Tahrir Square in Cairo. This woman, holding a blood-spattered flag, had piercing, tear-red eyes that said a million words in once glance. While perhaps not my technically best photo ever, it is certainly one of my proudest.

This little guy has been hanging around my base for about a week now, most likely because I've been feeding him. He loves having pictures taken oddly enough, unlike my own dog at home lol. His half blue half brown eye is functional and definitely neat.
 


I wonder what he is thinking.
