Samsung NX20 to be announced at CES 2012 (January) Read more on PhotoRumors.com: htt

Really looking forward to this! 16-80 lens is interesting as a possible kit lens, that's a great range of focal lengths.

I hope they don't deviate too much from the NX10/11 form factor, I think it's really excellent. Just improve the sensor, JPG processing, RAW write speed, and EVF and I'll be a very happy camper.

Here's hoping the NX20 with 16-80 kit doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

The NX100 has a FA meter that I find pretty useful, and the NX200 already has been shown to have up to 8x zoom for manual focus, unlike the 2x from before.

It's pretty safe to assume the NX20 will have the FA meter and 8x MF assist.

I'm already looking forward to the NX20. The NX11 is starting to drop in price here in Canada as of this week. Black's is selling them at $649 from $699 a week ago. If that price continues to drop by the new year, I may just pick up an NX11, it is a nice camera.

I hope Samsung goes to upgrade with NX20, I really expect a advanced camera like medium DSLR level, faster shutter, high ISO, fast and precisely AF, bigger buffer and faster processor, better construction and I don´t care if it is a little bigger than NX10 to add more ergonomic features.
Ahh... swivel AMOLED screen like EX1.

I'm looking forward to the so called "classic +" camera, which "should" be announced at CES as well. If it has a good EVF and a rangefinder body, then it'll definitely be a hit.

it's just a NX200 + an EVF, isn't it?

Hope they'll get the EVF right this time. The one in NX10/11 is pathetic and a deal breaker for the otherwise quite attractive package.

A January announcement for the NX20 isn't news... Nor has it been 'delayed' since we last heard about it.

The NX20 won't simply be an NX200 with EVF, either - not if it follows the design fundamentals of the NX10 vs. NX100.

The leaked roadmap of NX product Samsung displayed at Camerarumors has shown to be accurate as far as the NX200 is concerned, representing their 'NX STYLE' line along with its sibling NX100.

The NX10, 11 & 5 are their 'NX CLASSIC' line. Samsung describes that category as 'Conventional SLR style'.

So, NX classic+ could be something like NEX 7 and NX20 will look NX 10. That sounds logical.

If that's anything like 'Hipster', I don't think you're missing much.

Yes - the fact that the CLASSIC+ description says "High Performance and Portability " is a giveaway. CLASSIC+ will probably combine the best of STYLE and CLASSIC.

p.s. samsungimaging.net blog confirmed there will be new accessories attaching to the NX200 hotshoe that have not been announced yet, which will use the new additional hotshoe contact points. They also passed on feedback decrying the lack of EVF connection to "the appropriate department". See the comments on the blog post announcing the NX200.

What was your trouble with the EVF on the NX10/11 ? I actually think mine is quite good.

So what's good to you may not necessarily be good for me and I don't think I'm alone in being unhappy with the EVF of NX10/11.

Specifically, it has poor resolution and you see the dots of the matrix. By the way, I eye sight is far from being good.
