...is the Samsung you have with you. I brought the WB210 along on a recent vacation in France (my daughter won a trip on the U.S. tv show, "Let's Make a Deal") to supplement my DSLR, and as a backup if necessary.

I didn't need a backup, fortunately, but there were times that the little p&s was more convenient to shoot, and it was fun to use as well.

Here are some of the photos I took with the WB210.

A quick snap from the car near Giverny:

We took a bike/train trip from Paris to Versailles and I brought only the WB10, because of its form factor. Here's a butterfly on the grounds of Versailles:

We bought food for a picnic lunch at the open-air market at Versailles (the Marché Notre-Dame):

And my favorite, a shot I took on a walk near our hotel, that helps to put the ET in perspective, so to speak:

So while there may be "better" cameras in the Samsung lineup, the WB210 worked fine for me on this vacation.

Cool shots - I particularly like the last one.
Thanks.

Nice crisp, sharp images. The last one is a nice composition and colour cast, and the butterfly is very sharp.

Thanks for the views and kind comments. I forgot to include this photo of the harbor at Honfleur on a rainy day.

despite this low cost camera, you did made full used of it & all pix very well taken, I have just rec'd this cam from B&H, but I must say that I can't produce the same as you.
anyway, pls keep posting, until such time, I may show you some.

you and your p/s camera have done well. The harbour shot I love.

These are lovely. What wonderful memories.

Keep shooting and you'll get some good shots. However, keep in mind that these photos are some of the best ones I took on the trip. Many were not keepers. The camera has limited dynamic range, as expected, and I think the metering could be better, but it can do well when conditions are good.

Yes, we'll have great memories and today I put the finishing touches on a slide show to help keep those memories alive.

Thanks for your comment.
