I wonder what the X10's 360 panorama will look like. The X100's 120-180 panorama is quite impressive.

Not bad. Both do have imperfections and poor stitching, but for on-board pano, it's quite nice.

I'm using Microsoft ICE with mine, tons of overlap, and I post process in LR3 for an average and then just copy all the settings from one to all the others. I recently made extremely large panos on a vacation, which were composed of 20-25 pics each. All came out pretty well.

Here are highly reduced versions from Bilbao, Spain, Biarritz, France, Pic du Midi in the High-Pyranees. Done on my EX1, LR3, then MS ICE stitching. Waves are extremely hard to get, IMO, as one shot was poorly stitched (but only upon close inspection is it visible), so I discarded that. It surprised me that the Biarritz shot came out ok, since the waves were extremely strong and unpredictable.

Most excellent pictures!

You can definitely tell the difference between an onboard version vs. actual stitching of 20 photos. The quality is clear to be seen.

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks man. Try to stitch yours, if you have the source files, using an outboard pano maker. ICE isn't perfect, but it's still quite good. On-board ones aren't bad, in the least, but they have narrower requirements, as you've seen. Sometimes I wished more cams had internal pano, but in the end, they aren't always the answer, but still fun to use.

is the exposure in the sky uneven left to right? Looks that way on my monitor.

Which one? There's one where the sun is directly to the right and was cropped out.

Have you ever looked up at the sky, nearing dusk, and seen how the other side of the sky from the sun is blue and towards the sun, it gets lighter and lighter?

Has anyone tried to get these Pano's printed on canvas or solid wood type stock?

I really like these types of layouts and was wondering how difficult it is to get fairly large prints - say 40 inches or more wide.
